Thank you for showing an interest in my Dentistry personal statement. This is the personal statement that I used to get into Dental School in 2021.
Having spent over 20 hours trying to perfect my statement, I received all my offers for interviews using this and I am confident in the quality of my work. Although it is based around Dentistry, the structure and presentation is extremely similar to a medical personal statement apart from the work experience and a few other minute details such as key terminology.
In this statement, you will be able to see how I implemented a hook, work experience, an EPQ, extensive research, taster days, volunteering, extra-curricular activities, and a conclusion to showcase all my experience so far.
Even though the content/structure of my personal statement may differ from other courses, I believe that there are many key takeaways to be considered, whether that be the theme I created, the hook I used, or the specific language I chose to explain my points.
I hope that by reading my personal statement, you will gain inspiration and develop new ideas for which you may want to implement in your very own.
